About the Winery

Aphros Winery, set in Portugal's Lima Valley, was revived by Vasco Croft in 2004 with a vision for sustainable, biodynamic viticulture. Guided by Rudolf Steiner’s principles, Croft transformed the estate, blending traditional and ecological methods to produce natural wines that gained international demand. In 2023, a visitor center was established, fostering community engagement through cultural events and a deep connection to the winery's philosophy.
